The performance of the Brampton cars was slightly better - down 42 per cent in January. Both those declines compared with a 55-per-cent collapse in total sales for Chrysler in the U.S.

The slump left the No. 3 Detroit auto maker with a 151-day supply of vehicles, almost four times the 60-day average that auto makers consider healthy.

Chrysler is existing on the life support of a $4-billion (U.S.) loan from Washington and is waiting for another $3-billion. It is in talks with Ottawa and Ontario, which have offered a $1-billion (Canadian) loan.

The auto maker faces a Feb. 17 deadline to convince Washington it is viable. It must show the U.S. government by then that all stakeholders, including unions and debt holders, are contributing to a restructuring plan that will restore the company to health.

At the same time, Italian auto maker Fiat SpA is performing a due diligence examination of Chrysler's assets to decide whether it will proceed with a deal that involves it taking a 35-per-cent stake in the battered company. In return for the stake, Fiat will get access to Chrysler's North American dealership network and unused capacity at its assembly plants to manufacture Fiat cars in North America.

How do you get headphones to work in 06 Chrysler town-country?

We have a 06 chrysler town and country lmtd. and we are trying to get headphones to work for dvd system we turn the headphones sign on on the remote and it appears on the radio but no sound will come out of headphones and yes they are on and we tried 2 new sets of batteries. We are really confused owners manual does not give much info on this if anyone knows could you please tell me.

How much should I pay for handicap hand controls for my van Chrysler town &country?

I have a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country van that need hand controls put in and I'm debating whether to remove driver seat and wheel into its place? Ive heard of a 6 position driver seat that I could transfer over into. I was wondering if anyone knew the price of these things.

What do you think of the 2001 Chrysler Town & Country Van?

I own a very small cab service. I do not have any minivans, but have found a 2001 Chrysler Town & Country with 140,000 miles for $6,000. What is your experience with this vehicle, and would it make a good stop & go vehicle, compared to other vans on the market? Thanks!

I recently bought the new 2008 model. I love it and it's great for our big family.

The van sits adult passengers comfortably and we've had no problems mechanically with the car. The only complaint I have is I live in a desert climate and do feel the air conditioning leaves a lot to be desired. Oh, I hate that all the interiors are light colored and shows dirt.
