HAVING A FULL SIZE VAN WITH A V6 PUTS ALOT OF STRAIN ON YOUR MOTOR. SO ADDING TO THAT DOESN'T HELP MUCH, I WOULDN'T TOW MORE THAN APPX. 1,500 LBS. OVER A LONG DISTANCE. SLIGHTLY MORE FOR SHORT TRIPS AND BE SURE TO TURN OFF YOUR OVERDRIVE ON YOUR SHIFTER WHILE TOWING. OTHERWISE YOU COULD BURN OUT THE OVERDRIVE IN YOUR TRANSMISSION.

Chevrolet or Ford Diesel or Gaz Van?

I shopping for Chevrolet Express Cargo Van or Savana Diesel Extended, they have at 6.5, but all of my friends have a different opinion, some advised me to go for Ford Econoline, 7.3 Diesel or 5.7 Gas, seeing is more reliable, looking for 1998 to 2002. I'm very confused because all of my friends are a good mechanics and if I buy the opposite from what they advise me will be a war there. Please give me a good professional advice to resolve my problem. Thanks Gene
