Legs in back. We tested the 2009 Wrangler Unlimited with four-wheel-drive and removable hardtop in Sahara trim. Its rugged good looks sport the signature Jeep round headlamps and seven-slot grille. Hinges, bolts and fasteners are exposed to add to the only-in-a-Jeep mystique. But you have to provide the splatters of mud. Not only is the hardtop removable, but so are the doors. How much more free-spirited can you get? Windows in all doors lower completely, and rear doors open 90 degrees to ease entry/exit. Even with adults in back, cargo room is ample for gear or groceries. Without passengers, the split rear seats, and headrests, fold to hold even more. The 4WD transfer case isn't as smooth in going from two- to four-wheel-drive or 4WD low as a dial-up system, but once in 4WD, Wrangler is at its best—on pavement or field. A few 4WD runs cleared a path to the mailbox for the postal truck. Seats are well padded to minimize

What does a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited cost in the Philipppines?

Hi all!
I currently live in the US and I own a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I plan to move to the Philippines in a year or two and would love to bring it with me. However, from my research, I've found that shipping and 100% tariffs would make this impossible. :(
So, how much money (in PhP or US$) would it take to buy a new one in the Philippines? Or, could you suggest a good substitute 4X4?

you might get an idea from this site. it has secondhand ones for sale. one good thing is that gas is cheap .a negative is that genuine parts are hard to come by. the value of the doller against the peso has virtually halved in recent years.............hope it comes back up by the time u travel...................mostly people in the phillipines drive second hand japanese imports..........even similar models to the jeep 4x4 . there isa good supply of parts. probably ur best option would be to sell ur jeep and condider buyinga toyota or mitsubishi when u arrive. they really do last.

What kind of experiences have you had with the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited?

I am considering buy a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I have a job that frequently takes me to muddy construction sites, dirt roads, and live in upstate NY so deal with sometimes interesting winters. I also want a convertible. Maybe a Jeep is the best of both worlds. I have generally stayed away from American car makers becuase of their less then steller build quailty. But after 5 years with a VW Jetta that has spent a lot of time at the shop, I don't want to deal with something that is going to be consistantly having stupid annoying things go wrong with it. Something else that is appealing to me about the Wranglers is the fact that their resale value seems to stay pretty good compared to other cars of the same vintage.
So, after all of that, the simple question remains, what have been your experiences with the Wrangler Unlimited: what has gone wrong, what has gone right, recalls, dealer experience, etc.

Great vehicles. They are not the fastest vehicles, nor the most fuel efficient. But man, they are fun to drive. They love sand and snow. There are tons of aftermarket companies that sell accessories to make it more specific to your needs. The Unlimited is nice for the fact that you can hold more cargo and tow more than the shorter wheelbase. Now, in a few more months, Jeep will introduce the redesigned Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited. There will even be a four door Wrangler. You may want to wait to either buy the 2007 model or get a great deal on the 2006. Good luck. Here is the information on the four door model.:

I have a 04 jeep wrangler Unlimited that has the factory sub woofer in the center console. The sub woofer is blown i want to replace it with something aftermarket any ideas on what to replace it with because i heard it is not a regular sub.please share any of your ideas thank you.
I've heard that, with some minor trimming and drilling to the factory box, you can replace the factory subwoofer with an 8 inch one. Scan or search the audio section of Jeepforum.com to find a more precise answer. Here is the link:
