Scanning the engine compartment of the recently coined 2009 Suzuki Equator midsize pickup revealed nothing suspicious at first. All the filler caps had "Suzuki" stickers on them. Everything seemed in order. Then, I spotted the automatic transmission fluid cautionary near the front of the engine: "Use only Nissan Matic Fluid S. Other fluids will damage the transmission." Huh-hah. Just as I suspected. The Suzuki Equator is really a Nissan Frontier. Only the front end has been altered so it can change trains at 30th Street Station without being recognized by foreign agents. So, what do Dr. House and Sherlock Holmes have on me other than expensive drug habits and a few more brain cells? Seriously, the mysterious recent appearance of the Equator does raise a couple of reasonable questions: First, why would Nissan build a pickup for Suzuki to sell here? I would think that Suzuki is going to scratch Nissan's back by supplying it with vehicles in other markets. It's also true that the more units Nissan builds, the cheaper (and hence, more profitable) each unit becomes. The flip side of that, of course, is that Equator will cannibalize a certain number of Frontier sales.

I am considering purchasing a 2006 Dodge Dakota Extended Cab with a V-6 engine. Would you tell me what your mileage is in the city and on the road? I appreciate your input.
Sorry, I own a 2001 Dodge Ram Extended Cab w/ a V-6 and my husband drives mostly on the e-way and get about 400 miles to a tank. I'm not sure if that's helps. we pull our 29 ft travel trailer and we don't have a trans cooler on it and it terrible. if you have any other questions I can ask my husband. Tanya

It is the Drivers side flip forward seat that allows access to the back seat for passengers in the extended cab. I need to replace the whole seat, since the bolts have broken that hold it up.
You-pull junkyards are the best way to go as a dealer will charge tons of money.
Ebay might work too, but shipping may be a bit high.

I know for sure this is the problem. I have a friend who does mechanic work on the side and he just doesn't have the tool to do it. I forgot to ask him and he's not in town now to ask. I just want a ball park figure so I don't get screwed when I go to an auto repair shop. Thanks so much!
Sorry! I don't know the technical terms, but it was for the steering. He said it is going to make noise when I turn, which it does. My understanding is it is a piece that keeps several pieces neatly together and kind of acts as a cartilidge. I hope this explains what I am talking about.
there are over 40 bushings. the price to change would depend on which bushings are needed.
by your added description it sounds like stabilizer bushings.
these are not too exspensive maybe less than $125 depending on the type of bushings being put in.
But it could also be control arm bushings. these are more expensive and also require an alignment when done.
maybe $500 to $750 range.
either way the parts are not too expensive its the labor may estimates are based on $55 per hour labor rate.
