The preparation that goes into SEMA-bound vehicles goes way beyond the skin-deep appearance of flashy paint and chrome. The '09 Chevy Silverado extended cab that we found in Stillen's Costa Mesa, California, performance garage had already come back from the body beauty salon, but its next modification would certainly blow away its peers at the most celebrated auto show of the year. The guys at Stillen chose Magnuson because of its great low-end power, instant boost response, beautiful appearance, and available 3-year/36,000-mile warranty. Magnuson delivered a freshly designed prototype blower to the Stillen techs with most of the necessary parts, an instruction manual from the last generation GM MagnaCharger, and a phone number that would connect us to Magnuson's product designers in case we ran into any problems during the installation. The phone number proved to be of utmost importance since there were a few hiccups along the way, but we were dealing with a prototype here. A few bumps in the road were to be expected. After having to make a few calls and requesting a few different parts, the MagnaCharger test fitting party was a success. This Chevy was in for a treat since no other '09 GM truck on the planet has been equipped with the new MagnaCharger and Truckin' went along for the ride as Stillen's master technicians, J.C. Majul and Sam Camarillo, transformed the stock GM truck into a rolling rocket.

Does anyone know how I can disable or unplug the buzzer/chime that sounds when my key is in the ignition and my door is open with out the engine running? Also where is it located?
Follow your ears. If you can find a wiring diagram for the ignition, there is probably a wire attached to the lock cylinder that grounds out when the key is in and the door is open. Cut the wire, end the noise. I disconnected one accidentally on an older Chev, so I don't know if it will still work. The wire was yellow, if I remember correctly. Be careful if you have Airbags.

I just got my 2005 chevrolet silverado 1500 extended cab and im wondering what system i should get for it. I want deep bass and a good amp for a reasonable or low price. Any help is appreciated.
close your eyes and trust your ears. take your fave cd to the local car audio store and just take half an hour to listen to different models.
it depends how much you want to spend as well.
if you arent willing to fork out a few hundred then stick with factory. Competent installation alone will set you back at least 100 bucks for the simplest system.

and four (decent) spkrs 200+ ($120 rear6x9 and $ 60 front 5"
An amp another 100 + as well as extra installation.
grand total $500 minimum for a decent sound but to get the bass you hear in cars in traffic you are looking at thousands
