Concept cars, SpongeBob SquarePants, football coach Turner Gill, eco-friendly vehicles and a car-a-day giveaway are major features at the 2009 Buffalo Auto Show. Students looking to switch up their weekend from studying and partying can head over to the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.

   The Buffalo Auto Show is more than just a sneak peek at brand new vehicles. Each day attendants can check out a safe driving simulator, watch a professional team "pimp out" an '09 Chevrolet Malibu, and browse a wide variety of cars, trucks and SUVs from manufacturers around the world.

   The show will run through Sunday. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $8 on Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the Buffalo Auto Show Web site.

   Sunday is UB Appreciation Day at the show. There will be no discount on tickets; however, students can watch as coaches Turner Gill and Reggie Witherspoon receive a special tribute from local car dealers.

Is the 2006 Chevrolet Malibu LT for 10,000 dollars with 40,000 Mileage a good buy? Is it a good car also?

I've been fixing cars for almost 25 years. If it were up to me, everyone would drive Malibus. I stick with Toyota. And I know how to spell CAMRY! And M-A-L-I-B-U.

What could be the problem in my Chevrolet Malibu car?

Every one to two weeks I have to add Dexcool coolant to the tank of my Chevrolet Malibu 2000 car. The car has 78,000 miles. The tank appears to be intact. It has not heated up to the point of turning off but sometimes it has a burnout odor. Where could be the problem?

If you don't see an obvious leak check the oil and see if your getting water in the pan. Many GM V-6 engines had a problem at about your mileage with the lower intake plenum gasket. If thats it you will have water in the oil.

How can I disconnect the anti-theft device installed on my Chevrolet Malibu?

Can anyone please guide me where I could get an owners' Manual for Chevrolet (Malibu). I bought a 1998 model and the anti-theft device installed in it sometimes switches on automatically as if I am stealing my own car. I would like to disconnect it as no mechanic here knows how to do it.
Many thanks to you Jim. It really worked and now no trouble with the anti-theft device.

You need to cut the yellow wire going to the Passlock resistor at the ignition cylinder, while it's running...the security light will stay on (unless you remove the bulb), but the annoying 10-15 minute delay in starting will go away...info, with pics, below...
